Commonly known as "pale" in fact their technical name is "rotors", represent the portion of a wind generator that has the task to "capture" the wind and turn it into rotational kinetic energy. From here the word "rotor", component which rotates.

They are divided into two broad categories: horizontal axis (the classic ones that we see the mountains and which rotate as the blades of a propeller plane) that have need of a guidance system and those with a vertical axis (which rotate as the blades of a helicopter) that do not need to take because the wind direction 360 °
